St. Louis has always been a great city for backyard entertaining. Wide suburban lots in Chesterfield, O'Fallon, and Wentzville, mild spring and fall weather, and a culture built around neighborhood gatherings make the St. Louis metro one of our favorite markets in the Midwest. Private hibachi catering has taken off here fast — once one family in a neighborhood books it, everyone else wants one. HibachiLover brings a professional teppanyaki chef, full grill setup, and live fire show directly to your St. Louis home or venue.

Best Time of Year for St. Louis Hibachi
Spring (April–June) is the most popular outdoor season — temperatures are comfortable, graduation parties are in full swing, and evening backyard events are beautiful. Fall (September–October) is equally popular, especially for birthday parties and family reunions when the weather cools down.
Summer events work best in the evening (6pm+) when St. Louis heat breaks. Winter hibachi is absolutely doable — most O'Fallon and Chesterfield customers set up in a heated garage with the door cracked for ventilation. It's one of the most fun winter party formats in St. Louis.
Most Popular St. Louis Hibachi Events
- Graduation parties — May and June are our busiest months in St. Louis. High school and college graduations in Chesterfield, Kirkwood, and Webster Groves regularly draw 40–80 guests.
- Milestone birthdays — 30th, 40th, 50th, and 60th birthday parties in suburban backyards are extremely popular.
- Family reunions — St. Louis has large multi-generational families. Reunions of 50–100 guests in St. Charles and Wentzville are common.
- Corporate team events — Clayton and downtown St. Louis companies book hibachi for summer team events.
- Holiday parties — December indoor garage events and November pre-Thanksgiving gatherings.
